RD Hypnotherapy – Terms and Conditions*


The client agrees to consult a qualified medical practitioner for any medical issues. Rebecca Donoghue/RD Hypnotherapy/www.rdhypnotherapy.co.uk does not give medical, nursing or healthcare advice of any kind. Hypnotherapy is evidenced to provide many benefits, but please note that hypnosis does not substitute proper medical attention, diagnosis or treatment.

Rebecca Donoghue/RD Hypnotherapy is committed to do her very best to help you to overcome your issues, and empower you to make the changes in your life that you desire. However, results may vary from person to person and Rebecca Donoghue/RD Hypnotherapy cannot guarantee the resolution of any presenting issues or problems or that you will achieve your desired outcome – you are the only one who can guarantee your success.


All contact, including consultations, hypnotherapy sessions, telephone conversations, messages and emails will be treated with respect, discretion and strict confidentiality. There are a few exceptions for legal and safety reasons including (but not limited to):

  1. Where you give written permission for confidentiality to be broken.
  2. Where the therapist is compelled by a court of law.
  3. Where the information is of a nature that confidentiality cannot be maintained,   including (but not limited to):

                      a. The safety (both physical and psychological) yourself or others (including children) is at risk.                          

                      b. The client discloses information of a criminal or fraudulent nature.


Payment is by cash or cheque on the day, to be taken before commencing the hypnotherapy or direct bank transfer in advance.

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

RD Hypnotherapy understands that occasionally a client may need to cancel an appointment if unforeseen personal circumstances arise.  If you cannot attend your booked session, RD Hypnotherapy asks that the client agrees to give at least 24 hours’ notice. Just call or email and we will be happy to rearrange your appointment. No fee will be charged when the client complies with this condition. A lot of time and preparation goes into the planning of each therapy session and it is unlikely the therapist’s time can be rebooked at very short notice. If sessions are cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice a 50% charge will be incurred.

Code of conduct

Rebecca Donoghue/RD Hypnotherapy reserves the right to decline to accept, or continue to treat any client, person or individual. Each client is considered on an individual basis and acceptance into or continuation of therapy is entirely at the discretion of Rebecca Donoghue/RD Hypnotherapy. No reason for declining to treat or continuing to treat need to be given. Rebecca Donoghue/RD Hypnotherapy will refuse to see any individual who is under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.


*A full copy of the terms and conditions will be presented to each client before starting any course of therapy.
